Check how we use deformable autoencoders to localize neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease on 3D brain MRI. We also showed that we can use the strength of deformation to an individualized healthy template to assess disease severity:

We developed a simple/lightweight model to selectively adapt anomaly detection methods to non-pathological shifts, i.e., scanner shifts for easier deployment in the clinic. It does not require changing the source model and the code is available online:
